Ice cider

Light and balanced

The Labranche Ice Cider is an apple-based wine that can only be produced in Quebec. Our province’s extreme winters ensures that the right sugar concentration can be attained. During winter, the apple juice extracted from last fall’s harvest is placed in outdoor vats, thus enabling the freeze concentration of the must before the fermentation phase.

Aging potential – Ready now, or keep 5 years, depending on the vintage.

  • Selection of our best apples, natural freeze concentration of the must and slow fermentation for 3 months in stainless tanks at 2°C.
