In the same way that maple sap is turned into syrup, the apple must in our Labranche Fire Cider is concentrated on wooden pans. Unlike cryoconcentration used to make ice cider, this process concentrates the sugars and flavours using heat.
Fire Cider is a rare product, as very few producers currently make it in Quebec.
